One of the most prestigious civilian awards in India is Bharat Ratna, which is bestowed on people who have made outstanding contributions to society. He is in love with Aasthama (Suhasini), who is the daughter of the magician, Kamachi Rao (Satyanarayana) and sister of Bangarupurushudu's arch enemy, Kondaveedu Madhava Rao (Suthi Velu). The story is about how Madhava Rao plots the downfall of Bangarupurushudu, with Krishna's help.
