This post has been removed. The Viola Scale is a set of notes for viola players to play on the instrument. The scale begins with an open G and progresses to and including and including an open high C. These notes represent the only notes that a violist should be playing on their instrument – anything else, such as sharps or flats, are simply accidental notes that often occur but are not part of this system. The system is as follows: The first note, G, is played using the G string. The second note, A, is played using the D string. This creates a kind of augmented fourth or perfect fifth interval between B and F that adds a simple and interesting sound to the overall sound of the scale and should be practiced extensively. It also allows for easier fingering than 1 to B to F since the first finger normally isn't available for use on 1 to B and has to be used on A instead (in case of an open string). The third note is C, which is played using the A string. This creates a kind of tritone interval between C and D. It also creates a fourth interval between D and E. The fifth note is E, which is played using the G string. This creates a kind of augmented fourth or perfect fifth between F and G that adds a simple and interesting sound to the overall sound of the scale. The sixth note is B, which is played using the D string. This creates a kind of augmented fifth or diminished seventh interval between the notes F# and G# that adds a simple and interesting sound to the overall sound of the scale. The seventh note is F, which is played using the A string. This creates a kind of augmented fourth or perfect fifth between the notes B and C that adds a simple and interesting sound to the overall sound of the scale. The eighth note is C, which is played using the G string. This creates a kind of diminished fifth or augmented sixth interval between F and G# that adds a simple and interesting sound to the overall sound of the scale. The ninth note is D, which is played using the D string. This creates a kind of augmented fourth or perfect fifth interval between E and F that adds a simple and interesting sound to the overall sound of the scale. The tenth note is F, which is played using the G string. This creates a kind of augmented fourth or perfect fifth interval between G and A that adds a simple and interesting sound to the overall sound of the scale. The eleventh note is B, which is played using the D string. This creates a kind of augmented fifth or diminished seventh interval between F# and G# that adds a simple and interesting sound to the overall sound of the scale. The twelfth note is C, which is played using the A string. This creates a kind of tritone interval between F and G that adds a simple and interesting sound to the overall sound of the scale. cfa1e77820
